Locally owned, not a broker

You are calling Ardmore, not a call center

Ardmore Dumpster Rental is locally owned and operated, built on one simple idea: a dumpster rental should show up when it is promised and cost exactly what was quoted — nothing more.

We still own every truck and every container, and we still dispatch them ourselves from our Ardmore yard. That is why we can say yes to a same-day drop, and why the person on the phone can picture your street before you have finished describing it.

  • Locally owned and dispatched — not a national broker reselling someone else's truck
  • Our own trucks, our own boxes, our own drivers
  • The quoted number is the invoiced number
  • Licensed & insured in Oklahoma, certificates on request

How it works

Five steps, one phone call

  1. 1

    Call and describe the job

Tell us what you are throwing out and where it is going. We will tell you the right size — even if it is smaller than you thought.

  2. 2

Get a flat rate on the spot

Delivery, the rental window, the tonnage allowance and pickup in one number. No teaser rate, no surprise invoice.

  3. 3

We deliver and protect the surface

Boards go down under the rails before the box does. The driver walks the placement with you if you are home.

  4. 4

    Fill it on your schedule

A standard rental runs 3 to 7 days, which suits most jobs, and extensions are cheap if the project runs long. Just call.

  5. 5

One call and it is gone

We pick up, sweep the spot, and haul it to a licensed Oklahoma facility with the recyclables pulled out.

FAQs

Dumpster rental in Ardmore — common questions

The questions we field every day. Anything not covered here, just call — we will give you a straight answer.

How much does a dumpster rental cost in Ardmore?

It comes down to the size you take, how long you keep it, how heavy the load is and what is in it. A light household cleanout in a 10 yard or 15 yard sits at the affordable end; a 30 yard of mixed construction debris costs more because disposal is charged by weight at the scale. We quote a flat rate covering delivery, the rental period, a tonnage allowance and pickup, so the number you are told is the number you are invoiced — no teaser rate and no surprise fuel or environmental line items. Our cost guide breaks down every driver. Call (580) 217-2847 for a firm number in about two minutes.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Ardmore or Carter County?

Not if it stays on private property. A container set entirely on your own driveway, yard or lot needs no permit at all — that covers most of our deliveries. The moment it has to sit on the public right-of-way instead — a street or a sidewalk — the office that handles it depends on where you are. Inside Ardmore itself, that is the City's own §25-86 right-of-way use permit process under Chapter 25 of the Ardmore Code of Ordinances; no specific fee is published, so we don't print a number as gospel — call the city to confirm current requirements. In the unincorporated Carter County communities we serve, it is Carter County itself, via its Board of County Commissioners instead, since there is no town government to ask. The eight incorporated Carter County towns we serve each run their own separate permit process through their own town office, and the two neighboring-county cities we cover, Marietta and Sulphur, sit in Love and Murray County respectively, where a genuinely different county's rules apply, not Carter County's own. Confirm the current fee and process with whichever office applies, and allow lead time rather than expecting same-day approval. Our Ardmore & Carter County permit guide covers every one of these processes in detail.

How fast can you deliver?

Call before noon on a weekday and same-day is usually achievable — our yard is right here on 3551 Cypert in Ardmore, so the truck starts here rather than driving in from out of town. Next-day is almost always available and costs the same. A permit requirement, an active severe-weather warning or a truck already committed can change the answer, and we will tell you that honestly rather than promise a slot we cannot hold. See same-day dumpster rental.

What size dumpster do I need?

Most Ardmore-area homeowners land on a 15 or 20 yard. The 20 is our most popular box and it also covers a roofing tear-off up to about 50 squares. Two things flip that. Heavy material — concrete, brick, block, dirt and stony fill — goes in a 10 yard every time, because you hit the legal weight limit long before the box is full. And plaster-and-lath out of an older home weighs considerably more than modern drywall, which catches people out constantly. Describe the job on the phone and we will size it, including talking you down if a smaller box will do. Full detail in our sizing guide.

What can't go in the dumpster?

This is a matter of real guidance as much as a policy one. Per Oklahoma DEQ guidance, batteries, paint, cleaners, automotive products and pesticides are household hazardous waste that should not go in with the regular trash, since they can catch fire, leak or react. Electronics such as computers and monitors are better handled through Oklahoma's real Oklahoma Computer Equipment Recovery Act (OCERA) program, which makes recycling them easy and often free — a recycling resource, not a landfill ban. Yard waste goes in its own box, and that box has a different exclusion list of its own: no treated or pressure-treated wood, no plastic planters, no fertilizers or chemicals, and no bagged household trash. Asbestos never goes in a container under any circumstances; it needs a licensed abatement contractor. Full list in our Oklahoma disposal guide.

Do you deliver dumpsters year-round, including during spring storm season?

Yes. Oklahoma sits in and near Tornado Alley, and the real seasonal pattern here is spring severe weather — tornadoes, high winds and hail, roughly March through June. For us that mostly means routine cleanup: downed tree limbs, wind-damaged fencing, and hail-battered roofing shingles once a system passes through. We are not a disaster-response crew, and we do not remove debris from a damaged structure itself — that stays with specialists. If severe weather is actively moving through, we hold or reschedule a delivery rather than send a driver into it, and boards go under every box year-round regardless of season. More in our spring storm season guide.

My driveway is narrow or hard to access. Will that be a problem?

Often not, but it is the right question to ask, especially on older lots or rural properties without a wide paved drive. A roll-off truck needs roughly 60 feet of clear space to work in, about 25 feet of overhead clearance while the box is tipping off, and a flat hard surface such as a driveway to set down on. A tight lot, low tree limbs, overhead service drops or on-street parking can eat into all three. Sometimes the answer is a smaller container, sometimes it is a different placement spot, and occasionally it is honestly no. Tell us the address and we will know most streets already. See our guide to placement and driveway protection.

Are you a broker, and which towns do you serve?

We own the trucks and the containers and dispatch them ourselves from our Ardmore yard — when you call you get someone who can picture your street. Brokers resell your job to whoever is cheapest that day, which is how you end up with a no-show and an invoice that does not match the quote. We cover Ardmore, Healdton, Lone Grove, Wilson, Ratliff City, Dickson, Gene Autry, Springer, Tatums, Fox, Dripping Springs, Provence, Marietta and Sulphur across Ardmore, Carter County and the surrounding south-central Oklahoma communities we serve.
